এক দফা জামিনের আর্জি খারিজ হয়ে গিয়েছে গতকালই। দায়রা আদালতে নতুন করে জামিনের আর্জি জমা দিতে চলেছেন তাঁর আইনজীবী। তার আগে বুধবার সকালেই অভিনেত্রী রিয়া চক্রবর্তীকে মুম্বইয়ের বাইকুল্লা জেলে নিয়ে যাওয়া হল। সুশান্ত সিংহ রাজপুতকে মাদক জোগানোর অভিযোগে ১৪ দিনের বিচারবিভাগীয় হেফাজতে পাঠানো হয়েছে তাঁকে। আগামী দু’সপ্তাহ বাইকুল্লা জেলেই রাখা হবে রিয়াকে।

টানা তিন দিন জেরার পর মঙ্গলবার রিয়াকে গ্রেফতার করে নারকোটিক্স কন্ট্রোল ব্যুরো (এনসিবি)। রাতেই আদালতে তোলা হয় তাঁকে। সেখানে জামিনের আর্জি জানালে, তা খারিজ করে দেন বিচারক। তদন্তকারীদের আর্জি মেনে রিয়াকে ১৪ দিনের বিচারবিভাগীয় হেফাজতে পাঠান তিনি। তার পর রাতটুকু এনসিবি-র দফতরেই কাটান তিনি। এ দিন সকালে তাঁকে বাইকুল্লা জেলে সরিয়ে নিয়ে যাওয়া হয়।

গত ১৪ জুন বান্দ্রার বাড়ি থেকে সুশান্ত সিংহ রাজপুতের ঝুলন্ত দেহ উদ্ধার হয়। তাঁর সঙ্গে সম্পর্ক ছিল রিয়ার। সেইসময় সুশান্তকে তিনি মাদক জোগাতেন বলে অভিযোগ। আদালেত এনসিবির তরফে যে সমস্ত কাজগপত্র জমা দেওয়া হয়েছে, তাতে যদিও রিয়া মাদক নিতেন বলে কোথাও উল্লেখ নেই। মাদক কেনা ও সুশান্তকে তা সরবরাহ করার অভিযোগ প্রমাণিত হলে ১০ বছর পর্যন্ত জেল হতে পারে রিয়ার।

শুধুমাত্র রিয়াই নন, তাঁর ভাই শৌভিক, সুশান্তের দুই কর্মচারী স্যামুয়েল মিরান্ডা এবং দীপেশ সবন্তের বিরুদ্ধেও প্রয়াত অভিনেতাকে মাদক সরবরাহের অভিযোগ রয়েছে। মাদক বিক্রেতাদের সঙ্গে তাঁদের সরাসরি যোগাযোগ ছিল বলে জানা গিয়েছে। তবে তদন্তকারীরা আদালতে জানিয়েছেন, ওই মাদক সিন্ডিকেটের এক জন সক্রিয় সদস্য ছিলেন রিয়া। কবে, কখন ডেলিভারি হচ্ছে, কত খরচ পড়ছে, সে সবের হিসেব তিনিই রাখতেন।

নিজের বয়ানেই রিয়া সুশান্তের জন্য মাদক কেনার কথা স্বীকার করেছেন বলে জানিয়েছেন তদন্তকারীরা। আদালতে তাঁরা বলেন, ‘‘রিয়ার বয়ান থেকেই পরিষ্কার যে সুশান্তের জন্য মাদক সংগ্রহ করতেন তিনি। সেবনের জন্যই তা ব্যবহার করা হতো।’’ সুশান্ত সিংহ রাজপুতের জন্য তাঁরা মাদক কিনতেন বলে স্যামুয়েল এবং দীপেশ জেরায় তা স্বীকার করেছেন বলে জানিয়েছেন তদন্তকারীরা। রিয়া এবং সুশান্ত, দু’জনেই মাদক কেনার খরচ মেটাতেন, জেরায় স্যামুয়েল এবং দীপেশ সে কথাও জানিয়েছেন বলে দাবি তদন্তকারীদের। সে কথা আদালতেও জানিয়েছেন তাঁরা।

এ ছাড়াও আদালতে তদন্তকারীরা জানিয়েছেন, মাদক সরবরাহের দিকটা সুশান্তের সহযোগীরাই সামলাতেন। কখন, কী মাদক কেনা হবে এবং তার জন্য কত টাকা খরচ করা হবে, কখনও কখনও তা রিয়া ঠিক করতেন। রিয়ার বিরুদ্ধে এই অভিযোগ নিয়ে মায়ানগরীর একটা বড় অংশই মৌনতা পালন করছে। তবে তার মধ্যে থেকেও কেউ কেউ রিয়ার সমর্থনে এগিয়ে এসেছেন।
