মেকআপ শিল্পীদের সাহায্যর হাত বাড়ালেন আলমগীর-শিল্পী

বাংলা চলচ্চিত্রে নায়ক-নায়িকার রূপে মুগ্ধ হন সাধারণ দর্শক। মেকআপ শিল্পীর তুলির ছোঁয়ায় ঝলমলে হয় শিল্পীর মুখমণ্ডল। প্রত্যেকটি চলচ্চিত্রে একজন মেকআপ শিল্পী ও তাঁর সহযোগী হয়ে কাজ করেন তিন-চারজন। পারিশ্রমিক হিসেবে প্রতিদিন পেয়ে থাকেন দেড় হাজার টাকা এবং সহকারীরা ৫০০ থেকে ৬০০ টাকা। দীর্ঘদিন ধরেই চলচ্চিত্রে মন্দাভাব। কাজ কমেছে ৮০ শতাংশ। যে কারণে কমেছে মেকআপ শিল্পীর সংখ্যাও। একসময় ১২০ জন মেকআপ শিল্পী কাজ করতেন বাংলাদেশ চলচ্চিত্র অঙ্গনে। এর মধ্যে বর্তমানে কাজ করছেন ৫০ জনের মতো।

করোনাভাইরাসের প্রকোপে বন্ধ রয়েছে শুটিং। যে কারণে সমস্যায় রয়েছেন ৩৫ জনের মতো মেকআপ শিল্পী। এই শিল্পীদের পাশে দাঁড়িয়েছেন বর্ষীয়ান অভিনেতা আলমগীর ও চিত্রনায়িকা শিল্পী। গতকাল চলচ্চিত্র রূপসজ্জাকর সমিতির নেতাদের হাতে একটি চেক তুলে দেন আলমগীর। নায়িকা শিল্পীও তাঁদের নগদ অর্থ প্রদান করেছেন বলে জানিয়েছেন সমিতির সভাপতি শামসুল ইসলাম।

শামসুল ইসলাম বলেন, ‘আলমগীর ভাই ও শিল্পী আপাকে অনেক ধন্যবাদ, তাঁরা আমাদের পাশে দাঁড়িয়েছেন। গতকাল আমাদের হাতে একটি চেক তুলে দিয়েছেন আলমগীর ভাই। গতকাল নায়িকা শিল্পী আপা আমাদের জন্য কিছু নগদ অর্থ পাঠিয়েছেন। যে টাকা দিয়েছেন, তা দিয়ে এই আপদকালে কিছুদিন খেয়েপড়ে বেঁচে থাকতে পারবে আমাদের বিপদে পড়া সদস্যরা।’

শামসুল ইসলাম আরো বলেন, ‘বর্তমানে বিশ্বের যে অবস্থা, এমন সময় কারো হাতে কোনো কাজ নেই। আমাদের চলচ্চিত্রের অবস্থা তো অনেক আগে থেকেই খারাপ। কীভাবে আমাদের মেকআপ শিল্পীরা বেঁচে থাকবে, তা বলতে পারছি না। সবাই আমাদের জন্য দোয়া করবেন।’

এর আগে মেকআপ শিল্পীদের পাশে দাঁড়িয়েছেন চিত্রনায়ক ফেরদৌস, পূর্ণিমা, নিপুণ। সমস্যায় পড়া কাছের মানুষটির পাশে দাঁড়ালে না খেয়ে কেউ কষ্ট পাবে না বলে মনে করেন এই তারকা শিল্পীরা।
